Digital Resilience

Project Aim

The Digital Resilience project expects to promote long-term impacts by encouraging the adoption of digital twinning technology within the construction and engineering sectors. It aims to enhance climate resilience skills among engineering candidates and young professionals while facilitating the dissemination of knowledge through workshops and outreach activities.

Digital Resilience seeks to provide a specialized online learning platform and modules, along with guidelines for curriculum integration in educational institutions.

Project Specific Objectives

  • Develop a Digital Twins learning platform for higher education students and young professionals to simulate and model climate-related buildings/structures.
  • Design customized training modules and curriculum to address climate change challenges in the Construction & Engineering sectors, such as extreme wind and thermal variations.
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration between Higher Education Institutions, Vocational Education and Training organizations, and industry to co-create innovative learning resources and guides.
  • Promote environmental resilience and sustainability in the built environment through digital technologies.
